Montreal, Quebec

Gorgeous Montreal, Canada boasts lovely French influence and old-world charm with all the features of a larger city (it's second in size only to Toronto). Visitors always enjoy the beautiful Vieux Montreal area with its interesting boutiques and inviting cafes and restaurants.

The well-known Mount Royal Park is a great place to spend an afternoon if the weather permits, as you can hike, rent a bicycle, or find a lovely spot for a delicious picnic.

Bermuda

Bermuda is not only internationally-renowned for its beautiful pink sand beaches, but this British overseas territory set in the mid-Atlantic is just a two-hour flight from many US cities. In addition to the incredible beaches, Bermuda is a great place to stroll around exploring its picturesque cobblestone streets, imposing forts, traditional colonial buildings, and interesting maritime history.

If you prefer a little heart-pounding exhilaration, rent a jet ski and head over to the notorious Bermuda Triangle.

Baja California Sur, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas in the southernmost part of the Baja peninsula has a great restaurant scene highly regarded for upscale local cuisine, an exciting nightlife, and beautiful world-class resorts right on the beach. Adventurers and water sports enthusiasts will also enjoy Lover's Beach for its gorgeous blue waters, fascinating caves to explore, and stunning rock formations.

Costa Rica

Although its tropical rain forest feels like another world, Costa Rica is in fact a fairly short flight from many places in the U.S.
